2023/09/12

BYD is proud of the many positive reviews and overwhelming interest during the 2023 IAA Mobility in Munich. At Europe’s largest and most talked-about automotive exhibition of the year, the brand attracted a lot of attention from the general public, while BYD’s press conference was one of the best attended at the entire event.

BYD, 2023, IAA, Munich

It’s hard to imagine, but it has only been a year since BYD entered the European market. The brand kicked off at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, where the all-electric BYD HAN, BYD TANG and BYD ATTO 3 debuted in Europe. Just one year later, BYD’s passenger car line-up for the European market has already doubled in size.

During the 2023 IAA Mobility, BYD once again underlined its pioneering role in the EV segment and its ambition to become a major player in Europe. BYD had one of the biggest stands at the car show and highlighted six all-electric vehicles, including the recently launched BYD DOLPHIN, the much awaited BYD SEAL and the all-new BYD SEAL U which celebrated its European debut.

BYD’s booth at the 2023 IAA Mobility was buzzing with enjoyment as countless visitors explored BYD’s wide range of all-electric vehicles. Also, at Odensplatz in the centre of Munich, the crowds at the BYD booth exceeded expectations, with many enthusiasts wanting to take the opportunity to test drive a BYD.

The press conference at a car show is always a good indicator to discover how interested visitors are in the brand and its new products. In that respect, BYD has nothing to complain about, as the press conference was one of the most attended of the entire event.

During the press conference, BYD Europe’s Managing Director, Michael Shu, showcased the new BYD SEAL, BYD SEAL U and a glimpse of the DENZA D9, after which Wolfgang Egger, Head Designer of BYD, delved deeper into the vehicle Ocean aesthetics Design inspired on nature to craft the captivating aesthetic of the BYD Ocean Series.
