· BYD appoints Inchcape as dealer partner introducing its passenger cars and world-leading EV technology to customers in Belgium and Luxembourg

Rotterdam, the Netherlands – BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of New Energy Vehicles (NEVs) and power batteries, has appointed Inchcape as its dealer partner for BYD passenger cars in Belgium and Luxembourg.

This strategic partnership with Inchcape introduces BYD electric passenger cars to the BeLux market from October 2022. Long-established in these markets, Inchcape will provide sales and aftersales services for BYD passenger cars across both countries, offering customers an exceptional omnichannel experience to suit preferences. Several physical stores will be opened at key locations in Belgium. The first BYD pioneering store is expected to open in Brussels during October 2022, allowing customers to view and test drive BYD passenger cars, while showcasing the world-leading EV technology. First deliveries of BYD cars will be made to customers in Q4.

Equipped with the world’s leading battery and powertrain technology, the first BYD zero-emission car models to be introduced to BeLux customers, includes the BYD HAN, a sporty high-tech, high-performance electric sedan; the BYD TANG, a seven seater all-wheel-drive SUV; and the BYD ATTO 3, an expressive and dynamic C-segment SUV built on BYD’s intelligent e-Platform 3.0. At the core of all BYD car models is the revolutionary Blade Battery for exceptional safety, performance and durability, born out of BYD’s 27 years’ experience in power battery development and technology.
