BYD Launches the ATTO 8 in the GCC Region

On December 9th, BYD's all-new large seven-seat plug-in hybrid SUV - BYD ATTO 8 was officially launched in Saudi Arabia and Oman first, and will soon be launched in other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. The BYD ATTO 8 is not only offered in two editions - DM-i and DM-p, but also equipped with the Gemini, precisely meeting the demands of users in the GCC region and providing more choices for local families and urban commuters.

The BYD ATTO 8 is over 5 meters in length and has a wheelbase of 2,950mm, providing a spacious interior for a relaxed and comfortable driving experience. Both versions are equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM Super Hybrid Technology. The DM-i edition boasts a low fuel consumption and a combined range of 728km, effectively alleviating range anxiety for long family trips. The DM-p edition has a combined maximum power output of 359kW and is equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent body control system, allowing it to handle complex road condition easily and meeting users' expectations for dynamic performance.

To date, BYD has offered a total of nine models across the GCC region, including five plug-in hybrids and four pure electric vehicles.
