On April 24, 2025, BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles and power batteries, officially launched its operations in Benin in collaboration with CFAO Mobility. The event took place at a new showroom in Ganhi and attracted numerous government officials, industry leaders, and media representatives. Notable attendees included Zhang Wei, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Benin, and Olushegun Adjadi Bakari, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Benin.
During the event, BYD introduced BYD ATTO3 and BYD DOLPHIN and inaugurated an after-sales service center and showroom in Cotonou, Benin, providing local consumers with a comprehensive range of services.
