Bogota, Colombia - Recently, Colombia witnessed the launch of its second BYD Ocean Series model - the BYD SEAL, an all-electric sedan. At the launch event, BYD, in collaboration with its Colombian partner, Motorysa, offered audiences an immersive ocean-themed experience and formally unveiled the virtual showroom "BYD World" in Colombia. Nearly 200 guests were present to experience the perfect blend of electrification technology and virtual interaction.

The BYD SEAL is the world's first production model equipped with CTB (cell-to-body) Technology. Sitting on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, the model achieves new breakthroughs in safety, handling, and efficiency. The BYD SEAL boasts an impressive pure electric cruising range of 520 km under WLTC conditions. The BYD SEAL epitomizes BYD's evolved Ocean aesthetics design, drawing inspiration from the Ocean X concept car. With its low ground clearance, the model emphasizes its sporty DNA. The four-wheel drive version can easily accelerate from 0 - 100 km in just 3.8 seconds, a truly exhilarating driving experience. Since 2020, BYD, in partnership with Motorysa, has continuously enriched the new energy vehicle lineup in Colombia and strengthened its dealer network. Currently, BYD's new energy passenger vehicles are available in stores across four major cities in Colombia: Bogota, Medellin, Cali, and Pereira, with a total of seven dealerships. The additional five stores are anticipated to open by the end of this year.
