BYD, the world’s leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles (NEVs) and power batteries, in partnership with Alghanim Industries, one of the largest privately-owned companies in the MENA region, celebrated the grand opening of its first showroom in Kuwait. Located on the 4th Ring Road in Al Rai, the new showroom marks a significant milestone as BYD establishes its presence across all six GCC countries, reinforcing its commitment to advancing e-mobility in the Middle East.  

The event featured an immersive 3D projection, showcasing BYD’s Blade Battery and its unparalleled safety advantages. This innovative display not only highlighted BYD’s 30 years of achievements in technological innovation and sustainable development, but also reflected the shared vision between BYD and Alghanim Industries to redefine Kuwait’s mobility landscape.

Reinforcing the importance of this partnership, His Excellency Zhang Jianwei, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Kuwait, emphasized the importance of the partnership between BYD, a global pioneer in sustainable transportation, and Alghanim Industries, a company renowned for its customer-centric approach and legacy of excellence.  

AD Huang, General Manager of BYD Middle East and Africa, remarked on the significance of the occasion, stating, “This year marks a momentous milestone for BYD as we celebrate three decades of innovation and the roll-off of our 10 millionth NEV. With this showroom opening, BYD reinforces its commitment to redefining mobility in Kuwait and the region. Together with Alghanim Industries, we aim to lead Kuwait's transition to a sustainable, electrified future by delivering groundbreaking technologies and solutions that transform how people live, drive, and experience mobility."

Mahmoud Samara, CEO of Alghanim Industries, emphasized the company's tangible steps toward advancing sustainable transportation: "For decades, Alghanim Industries has operated on a simple truth: serving our customers' needs is what drives real progress.
