BYD Debuts 4 Models at Indonesia International Motor Show 2024

Jakarta, February 23, 2024 – BYD, the world's leading manufacturer of new energy vehicles,  made a significant debut at Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024 with the showcase of four models, including the BYD DOLPHIN, BYD SEAL, BYD ATTO 3, and the high-end luxury MPV DENZA D9. This comes as a follow-up to BYD's official entry into the Indonesian passenger car market on January 18.

Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia-Pacific Auto Sales Division, emphasized the company's commitment to offering competitive new energy vehicles to meet the growing demand for sustainable transportation in the market. "We believe the pricing of these models aligns perfectly with their respective features and advantages," Liu stated.

Spanning 1,505 square meters, BYD's booth integrated a futuristic minimalist design with eco-friendly elements. The showcase was highlighted by a visit from Joko Widodo, the President of Indonesia, who experienced the DENZA D9 and BYD DOLPHIN in person and applauded BYD's efforts in technological innovations and new energy vehicle products.

The pricing for the Indonesian market has been set as follows: the premium edition of BYD DOLPHIN is available at 425 million Indonesian Rupiah; the BYD ATTO 3 superior edition is priced at about 515 million IDR, and the BYD SEAL in its premium and performance versions are offered at 629 million IDR and 719 million IDR, respectively.

Moreover, BYD Indonesia has partnered with Mandiri Bank through a Memorandum of Understanding to jointly promote the construction of a new energy lifestyle ecosystem, offering more convenient electric vehicle purchase solutions. With over 3 million new energy vehicles sold globally in 2023, BYD has become the world's sales champion of NEVs for the second year in a row. Since 2021, the company has expanded its global presence to 62 countries and regions with the entry of passenger vehicles.
