Qingdao, China - On September 19, BYD delivered 100 fully electric buses to CUTCSA, Uruguay’s largest electric public transit operator, at its Qingdao factory. This delivery ceremony marks another significant breakthrough for BYD in the international commercial vehicle market and further propels the development of green transportation in Uruguay. The event was attended by several guests, including Juan Antonio Salgado, President of CUTCSA Group; Fernando Barcia, General Manager; Martin Orlando, Minister Counselor of Uruguay in China; Deng Yuan, Country Manager for BYD Uruguay; Zhang Lin, Deputy General Manager of BYD America Auto Sales Division; and Wang Bao Can, General Manager of BYD’s Commercial Vehicle Factory in Qingdao.
