Yangwang: U8 Premium Edition, Off-road Edition, and U9 on first-time display

Yangwang U8 is positioned as a million-level high-end new energy hardcore off-road SUV equipped with two full-stack in-house developed core technologies: the e⁴ Platform and BYD DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System, boasting excellent off-road capability and state-of-the-art technology. Empowered by the e⁴ Platform, Yangwang U8 has a maximum 1100+ horsepower and can hit 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds. It can be operated stably under extreme conditions, float on water and streams, take a 360-degree tank turn, and feature agile steering. The Yangwang U8 Premium Edition features ultimate off-road capability and foregrounds its luxuriousness and intelligence. The Yangwang U8 Off-road Master Edition, designed specifically for off-road enthusiasts, offers even greater off-road capabilities and is the ideal choice for seasoned adventurers. In addition to the pre-sale of Yangwang U8, Yangwang U9 is also officially showcased at the launch event. Yangwang has incorporated the design language of the Time Gate, passionately expressing energy, technology, speed, and aesthetics, and bringing about its unique brand visual identity.

Yangwang Architecture is also introduced at the event. Developed exclusively for premium NEVs, the Yangwang Architecture is comprised of six BYD’s core technologies, including the e⁴ Platform, DiSus Intelligent Body Control System, Blade Battery, Master Body, Smart Cockpit, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Yangwang Architecture is high-performing, limitless, and evolvable to cover off-road, urban roads, race tracks, and many other operating scenarios. Yangwang U8 and U9 are the first two models sitting on Yangwang Architecture.

BYD Dynasty and Ocean Series: BYD Song L concept car, BYD Seagull and BYD Chaser 07’s global premiere

The Song L concept car from the BYD Dynasty series made its global debut. As the series’s new high-end B-class pure electric SUV, the model is developed with the concept of vanguard, sports, and technology. Song L has adopted the new generation design language of EV SPORT DRAGON and integrated BYD’s pioneering technology for younger customers who enjoy fashion and sports.

Two new models from BYD’s ocean series, BYD Seagull and BYD Chaser 07, are also unveiled at the event. Equipped with BYD’s latest technologies, BYD Seagull is a new model presented for a wider market, and its pre-sale price ranges from 78,800 to 95,800 RMB. This model is designed with unique marine aesthetics, its exterior look exudes vibrant energy and liveliness. The vehicle assures all-dimensional safety for customers, as it is built with the Blade Battery and upon the e Platform 3.0.

The BYD Chaser 07 is the first B+ class sedan equipped with the Super Hybrid technology from the BYD Ocean series. The model boasts large in-car space and stylish elements in line with BYD’s marine aesthetics, and it is priced from 200,000-250,000 RMB. The BYD Chaser 07 offers two variants with electric ranges of 121km (NEDC) and 200km (NEDC) and is the only plug-in hybrid sedan in its class that features an electric driving range of 200km, which covers the needs of commuting and long-distance travel.
