Toluca, Mexico - On November 29, 2023, BYD officially introduced the BYD SEAL in Mexico, marking the second ocean-inspired model from BYD in the region since the launch of the BYD DOLPHIN in September. The BYD SEAL, characterized by its sleek design, accentuates a sporty aesthetic and represents a further evolution of BYD's ocean aesthetics. In Mexico, BYD is offering two versions: the rear-wheel-drive variant is priced at 778,800 pesos (about 321,000 RMB), while the four-wheel-drive version comes with a price tag of 888,800 pesos (about 366,000 RMB). Nearly 200 local media representatives were present to witness this exciting moment.

The event also showcased the BYD SEAL's VTOL (vehicle-to-load) external discharge function, demonstrating its ability to supply energy for the coffee machine. This allowed guests to enjoy an extraordinary coffee-making experience.
After the launch, media friends and event guests had the opportunity to experience the outstanding performance of the BYD SEAL. Formula 4 NACAM racer Alexandra Mohnhaupt shared her test-driving experience, stating, "As a racer, I enjoy the sensation of extreme speed, and the BYD SEAL's 0-100 acceleration performance of 3.8 seconds is marvelous!"
