Blade Battery 2.0
Featuring an LMFP cathode and silicon-carbon anode, the 2nd-Gen Blade Battery achieves an energy density of 190–210 Wh/kg and a 1,036 km CLTC range (DENZA Z9GT). Its CTB design passed nail penetration tests without fire or smoke after 500 fast-charging cycles. Paired with 1500 kW FLASH Charging, it charges from 10% to 70% in 5 minutes, adding just 3 minutes to a 20%–97% charge at -30°C.

BYD's DMO platform pairs a 1.5T engine with dual electric motors (231PS front / 204PS rear) on the SHARK, generating 436PS and 650Nm for a 0–100 km/h time of 5.7 seconds, alongside a 90 km WLTP electric range (675 km total). The architecture integrates a 32.2 kWh Blade Battery via Cell-to-Chassis (CTC) technology using >50% high-strength steel. Market Performance
BYD continues its rapid expansion in the NEV sector. After ranking among the world’s top 10 automakers in 2023 and becoming the first automaker to produce 10 million NEVs in late 2024, BYD delivered a record of more than 4.6 million vehicles in 2025. By July 2026, its cumulative global sales had surpassed 17.3 million units, while total NEV production reached 16 million vehicles.
